Know your graphs! Each and every graph you learn in AP Macro is important. Be sure you know how to draw and shift each of them. You may be asked to do so in a free-response question. And they’re important to keep in mind even for questions that don’t explicitly ask you to draw one, as they can help you figure out your answer.
Know your formulas! Some of the questions will ask you to find the value in given scenario. It’ll be helpful if you remember them so that you’re not stuck on one question. Luckily the math to find out the answer does not require complicated math!

Review vocabulary. Some terms are rather tricky to remember, especially when they sound similar to others that mean the opposite. Be sure to note the difference between comparative and absolute advantage; nominal and real GDP; fiscal and monetary policy; the list goes on and on. Be sure to make flashcards or a Quizlet deck to study these important terms!

Studying for AP Macroeconomics can take a lot of time! When it comes closer to test day and you increase your studying time you have to make sure you are eating and drinking enough. It is incredibly hard to stay motivated and study effectively when you are dehydrated and/or malnourished.
