- Study with friends! Try working through practice problems on your own, and then trying to figure out your mistakes with the help of your friends. To study together, create a Fiveable Study Room!
- Follow calculator guidelines! In order to accurately prepare for tests in class and your AP exam, remember the rules of past exams ā FRQ questions 1 & 2 always allow calculators. FRQ question 3 allows calculators before 2011. FRQ questions 4, 5 & 6 never allow calculators. And, all FRQ questions before 2000 allow calculators!
- Watch videos when youāre confused! The Organic Chemistry Tutorās calculus videos, for example, provide step by step practice problems that can help when you donāt know where to start!
- Focus on explaining your work! The AP Calc AB exam will want both the correct answers and for you to understand how you work out your answers
